My stay in the Single Room was peachy! The lady who owns it is a total gem—so welcoming and helpful. Plus, it’s just a hop, skip, and a jump to the beach, and all the culinary delights around like Frankie's and Stones Cafe & Bar are just waiting to be explored.
Now for the cheeky bit, my first night was a restless one thanks to a snoring mate next door—those earplugs? Useless! No breakfast on site, but with all the nearby eateries, it's not a deal-breaker. a self-service breakfast would be a fab addition!

i was absolutely flabbergasted by the utter lack of breakfast options, a delightful self-service wouldve been nice! oh, and speakin of showers, the pressure could barely rinse off my conditioner. also, one would expect a small gesture for such troubles. sadly, i didn’t even see the owner. almost contemplated a good review, but just couldn’t.

I loved the cozy atmosphere of the guest house. The bed in my Single Room felt so comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day out. The location is fantastic, only a short walk to the beach and local eateries. Gwen, the owner, made breakfast feel special, with filling options that really started my day right. I found the shower facilities lacking. Low water pressure made it tough to take a decent shower during my stay. I noticed some areas in the room could use a bit of a touch-up, as they seemed to be wearing down.

Our stay was fantastic! We checked in early and were warmly welcomed by Gwen, who made us feel right at home. Our triple room was cozy and spotless, with a comfy double and single bed. The en-suite shower was modern and very clean, and we appreciated the well-stocked tea and coffee supplies. Plus, it's so close to the beach and town—perfect for exploring!
The water pressure in the shower could have been better.

missingWrote a review on Oct 03clean roomsquiet locationbreakfast option
We had a lovely stay on a very quiet street, just off the beaten track and close to the seafront. The beds were clean and comfortable, making it easy for our family of 9, including 7 kids, to relax after our adventures. Meeting Gwen was a highlight, as her cheerful nature made our experience feel special.
In my wife's opinion, having breakfast options available would have made things better for our family.

missingWrote a review on Oct 01clean roompoor soundproofinglack of breakfast
The room was clean and well-appointed, providing a comfortable space for relaxation.
Unfortunately, my stay was marked by uncomfortable nights due to the lack of soundproofing, as I could hear every snore from the next room. The absence of on-site breakfast was a disappointment, especially since self-service options would have been a great touch. I never encountered the owner during my visit, which made the stay feel impersonal and slightly neglected, especially during a busy weekend.

cozy guest house but lacking breakfast options
The Single Room was clean and well-appointed, providing a comfortable space for relaxation. I appreciated the charming little sitting room, which featured a big TV and a selection of books, even though I didn't use it. The location is excellent. just a short walk from the beach and near delightful eateries, making it easy to enjoy local cuisine.
While the stay was lovely, the absence of breakfast on-site was a downside.
